If I'm not using the wireless connection, how can I turn it off to save battery life?

  • IBM Hold down the "Fn" key while pressing "F5." This will bring up the wireless radio power settings menu. Next to each radio type (i.e. 802.11, Bluetooth), you can press a power button to enable or disable them.
  • Dell Hold down the "Fn" key while pressing "F2." If an image of a radio antenna crossed out with red appears, you have just disabled it. If an image of a radio antenna with yellow circles appears, you've just enabled it.
