First, change the port number in the Windows Registry. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306759/en-us for details on where in the registry to make the edit.
- Works for Windows XP and Vista

Next, create an exception in the Windows Firewall for the new port.

Finally, you must restart Terminal Services for the change to apply. Can either restart just the service, or restart Windows entirely.
