- First, change the port number in the Windows Registry. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306759/en-us for details on where in the registry to make the edit.
- Works for Windows XP and Vista
- Next, create an exception in the Windows Firewall for the new port.
- Finally, you must restart Terminal Services for the change to apply. Can either restart just the service, or restart Windows entirely.
