Speaking of more needed software and picking Andy's brain, does anyone have recommendations or pointers for software that is workstation-only software and is good for synchronizing whole directory structures and files between office computers, thumb drives, and home computers based on last modified dates and the like?

---

I loved FolderShare, but eventually ran into the 10,000 file limit per share. Easy to use and I'd highly recommend it. Being free doesn't hurt either. I still use it to sync my music collection between external drives here and at home. https://www.foldershare.com/

I've tried the folder sync in Office 2007 (Groove) but its got pretty small size limits. 2GB? Something like that.

And then there's the IT favorite -- RoboCopy. http://www.ss64.com/nt/robocopy.html Great for sysadmins, not sure I'd have endusers using.

I started using Synctoy (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/syncto y.mspx)
