Is there a way? Or if its getting blurry are we just talking about a dead monitor?Well, that depends on what kind of monitor it is. Some SUN monitors do have controls on them that allow some adjustments to sharpness and some don't have any controls at all.

Some of the older 17" monitors that they had with machines in the labs definitely had controls for this. Newer monitors probably also have it somewhere, but it may take a little searching...

In general unless someone made it go out of wack, however, it is almost impossible to fix the focus/sharpness to perfection (or near enough) for every section of the screen when this has happened. You can generally fix it so that most of the screen looks pretty good but certain sections can't really be used except for occasional glances (like if you had a clock on that part of the screen or something similar).
