Finding your IP address differs among operating systems. If you are using Windows 98 or ME, you can find your IP address by using the winipcfg utility. If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, you can find you IP address by using the ipconfig utility. Mac users can find their IP address by going to their network control panel (OSX and OS9). Linux users can find their IP address through netconfig.
