Welcome to WolfTech, the Information Technology division of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University. We provide hardware, software, web, programming, networking, systems analysis, database, and multimedia support for the largest department on campus and two dozen affiliated research centers. We support over 600 graduate students, 100 faculty and staff, and teaching labs serving 1500 undergraduates.

In addition, we provide infrastructure support for a various other groups on campus, including:

  • Department of Biomedical Engineering
  • College of Natural Resources

WolfTech is charged with responsibility for the computing and networking infrastructure and technical support necessary to sustain all of ECE's programs - instruction, research, and administration. In addition to providing many of these services directly, WolfTech also serves as liaison with other campus computing organizations, including the College computer support organization, ITECS, and the Information Technology Division (ITD), which provides computing and networking services to the campus as a whole.
