Map AFS Drive
To map an AFS path all you have to do is follow a simple short set of directions
- First go to your Start menu. From there select All Programs
- Now go to the folder NCState. Click on the program called WolfCall inside the folder
- When the WolfCall authentication screen comes up click on the tab on the right side of it that says Advanced
- When you click on that, there should be three tabs on top of a list of data. You’re going to want to click on Misc
- Now you should see Map AFS Path close to the top of the list. Click on this to be able to map an AFS path
- Here are the drive maps that you can use.
Admin Lockers: | /afs/eos/lockers/admin/ece/ (generally called "L" by staff) |
Ugrad: | /afs/eos/lockers/admin/ece/ugrad |
Grad: | /afs/eos/lockers/admin/ece/grad |
Finance: | /afs/eos/lockers/admin/ece/finance |
Contracts: | /afs/eos/lockers/admin/ece/contracts |
Department: | /afs/eos/lockers/admin/ece/department |
WolfTech: | /afs/eos/lockers/admin/ece/wolftech |
Research Lockers: | /afs/eos/lockers/researchece |
BMMSL: | /afs/eos/lockers/research/ece/bmmsl |
- Once you put in the AFS path (above), enter a drive letter you want it stored, select the Persistent box, and then hit OK
- You should now hit OK again and Exit
- You can check to see if it worked by going under My Computer(under the start menu), and make sure Wolftech is on your selected drive (bottom of screen).
