Installing and Running Maple 9 on OS X 10.3 Panther

IMPORTANT

• Before you begin installing maple, you should write down the serial number printed on the disk. If your disk does not have the serial number on it, please contact your system administrator.

• Installation:

1. Insert the Maple 9 CD and double click on the Maple 9 OSX Installer icon.
2. When the Introduction window appears, click Next
3. Enter the serial number for Maple
4. Click Next
5. Choose where you want to install Maple 9, by default Maple installs to your Applications folder, and then click Next
6. Review the pre-installation summary to ensure that Maple will install where you want it. Then click Install
7. When the installation is finished, click Done

• Running Maple

1. Navigate to your Applications folder
2. Double click on the Maple 9 icon
