Several agents and secretaries have asked for a calendar template similar to what WordPerfect and MS Word have. I have not been able to find such a creature. So, I created a couple of calendar templates using Star Calc. These will probably cover 90% of your calendar generating needs.

If you know how to use a spreadsheet, these are probably the best option.

  • calendar_landscape.stc
  • calendar_portrait.stc

As with any template, the more you know about using the application, the more you can do with the template. These may not be the easiest for someone who has never used Calc before to master. So, I tried to accomplish the same thing with Star Writer. Without spending a lot of time learning the intricacies of StarOffice macros, I couldn't figure out how to get it to automatically generate the calendars, so I did the next best thing.

Below are seven Writer template files. One for months beginning on each day of the week. They all have 31 days. So, it is up to you to pick the right calendar and delete out any extra days at the end of the month.

When/if I ever learn how to make Writer templates that are more 'intelligent', I'll update these. Download the following files by right-clicking on the link and "Save Link As..." Open the file from StarOffice using File, Open.
