EB II 1026, the Analog and Digital Circuits Lab, is used for the laboratory components of ECE 200. This lab is one of our more updated and advanced labs with twelve computer stations, each with a computer, flat panel monitor, oscilloscope, function generator, digital multimeter, and power supply. Each station is big enough for two partners to work side-by-side effectively to accomplish their given task.
ECE 200 is the Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering class. This class introduces a wide variety of topics in electrical and computer engineering. The lab allows students to get hands on experience with many of these topics, including LED lights, AM transmission & envelope detector, and amplification of signals. In these lab sessions, students will also learn how to use oscilloscopes, function generators, digital multimeters, and power supplies. This equipment will be used in the rest of their ECE classes and is necessary for their senior design project.
