The Beta Folder

Your beta folder is a magical place where faeries and other wee folk frolic around making the world a better place. Now, I know what your thinking. This just can't be true, but hear me out on this one. I have absolutely no clue what I am saying right now. That being said, you should become quite familiar with the location of your beta folder.

We all know the importance of having a backup copy of any file. For this reason, you are provided with a beta folder, where you are to do all your testing and code writting in. If you want to edit a file, simply copy that file and other files that it may require into your beta folder. Once you have done this, you can begin editing this file, without fear of corrupting the original page. In addtion, this allows for you to work on high traffic files without disrupting our normal Internet traffic flow.

In case you were wondering, your beta folder is located at: J:\eos\engrwww\ece\beta. You can get there by going to "My Computer" and then clicking on "all on 'computerName-afs' (J:)." Then find the folder entitled "eos" and double click on that. Next, enter the folder "engrwww," followed by "ece," and then finally "beta." This should take you to all the beta folders. You now need to find the folder with your Unity ID and proceed into this folder.
